Good reasons to add the PMC faction

I'm not sure where the PMC idea went, but reading up on current threads regarding factions I've had a little bit of inspiration that I couldn't help sharing.

I think a revised PMC faction may actually have the potential to fill a very important gap in the current gameplay structure of PR:

If you've played any skirmish maps with BLUFOR v Insurgents, you're aware that there's a bit of a gap between the equipment quality of the armies. Sometimes the insurgents put together a coordinated team and knock blufor around, but usually blufor comes out on top given their natural advantages and the objective of the gamemode. You can probably already see where I'm going with this.

Replace conventionals with PMCs for skirmish layers.
The faction is perfect for small scale engagements. Especially 8 v 8 kinds of scenarios
...
I think they could be used with even better fidelity than that the PR team currently has for MEC- they can replace just about ANY army (BLUFOR or OPFOR). They're a fictional PMC, meaning they can speak whatever language and fit whatever setting you throw them into. They can also be limited to the same number of optics that insurgent factions have. I know people in the past have wanted to come up with a faction name, but I'd personally stick with PMC to blanket over all the different companies (just as "militia" or "insurgents" represent hundreds of smaller groups)

This is deviating from my original idea, and I'm going out on a limb, but PMC could work even better with a new gamemode (like AAS) in which there are ~5 flags in an urban area (such as Ramiel). Neither team has hideouts or fobs- the flags would cap ridiculously fast and the insurgents have to defend them- once all insurgents are cleared from cap the flag belongs to PMC and they move to the next objective. To balance things out, PMC could be given a trans little bird and a technical/humvee. You could flip the factions and have a layer for PMC to defend as well. This would be another 8v8 or 12 v 12 gamemode. In the future, when PR's playerbase starts to drop, something like this would keep the mod playable (and fun) for a while longer. <- I'd assume this idea would be scrapped because I can't personally work on it and I doubt anyone with the know-how would help me with it

But getting back on topic...
The most obvious problem here is that the PMC is incomplete, but given the loose definition of the faction, it could pretty easily be assembled- especially with the wealth of pre-existing content. I'd volunteer to work on it myself or with anyone else who would want to help out.

I'm developing a decent knowledge of modelling+workflow in max9 and I can take care of all the retexes pretty easily. My intention for writing this post was primarily to have this written down for the future. Reason being that at the moment I want to help existing factions make their way into the game (I've made some commitments there) and I don't want to forget. Once I chop down my workload, this project is where I can see myself concentrating my energy.

I've searched the forums and I haven't found any threads presenting any of these ideas (i could be wrong though).

I'm interested in hearing thoughts and opinions on this subject.
