EDIT: Found the fix:
Hey, I made a heightmap with real life data and everything works fine except one thing, after I open or save the file in photoshop, somehow it adds a black line to two of the sides of the image.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me just remove those black lines from the edges:)
This is what happens:

Edit: I found out how to remove the thicker lines, it was the grid in photoshop that somehow saved it into the picture. So I disabled extras in the View menu and resaved but the terrain still looks like that... Does someone have any idea what's causing this?

The 'Walls' around your map have nothing to do with the primary heightmap but are caused by the fact that the ( currently invisible ) secondary heightmap on that edge is higher and the terrain engine interpolates between the heigths. To fix it it you can use the BGF Heightmap tool to create secondary terrain which matches exactly to the edge of the primary terrain. |
