I am a past player of PR and a bf2 modder, and I am struggling to understand how to increase the squad size limit (from 6 members to 8 members or more if possible) for my personal mod.
I already searched this and other forums, but I only found a thread from 2014 (BF2 squad player limit) and the below mentioned indications:
"... i finally found where is located the value of the squad player limit, just search for "CMP EAX,6", edit the conditional jump and test it".
Now, the "CMP EAX,6" command is actually present in several rows. I successfully used a hacking tool (OLLYDBG.EXE) to read through "bf2.exe" and "NovintHFXthe.dll" code, but I'm still at a dead end about which specific part needs to be modified.
As this is proving to be beyond my skills, I would be happy to make a donation to the PR community for any actual help in getting the needed file modified.
