need help with lighting in BF2142 (BF2Editor)

Hello guys!
i know its kinda offtopic to ask about 2142 here, but its only active and alive place where i can find people who knows about BF2Editor and related stuff =)

The problem is that i am making a night titan map for 2142 right now, and i have some problems with lightmaps.
As you know, its impossible to light up the terrain with glow models in Editor. it only lighting the objects.

but in maps like Liberation of Leipzig and Yellow Knife the terrain where the lanterns are placed is brighter which is making an expression that its lightened up by lantern.
My question is: How can i make the same?

is that bright terrain under lanterns are actually lightmaps ("bright shadows") of lantern? or what?

i am not completely noob in mapping, but i never experienced this kind of problem as before i was making only day maps.



i also suspect that it was created using lights in 3Dsmax where you can create invisible light bulbs to make the lighting, but i'm still not sure...


Can you please help me with this?
